چکیده
Osteointegration is a direct structural relationship between the bone and implant surface, properly osseointegration can function without mobility. We aim to evaluate this process using serial radiological examinations, where characteristics such as sclerosis cortical-periosteal thickening will be investigated. A retrospective analytic-observational study was conducted on 96 patients after cementless bipolar hemiarthroplasty operation from January 2012 2021, examined for standing pelvic or hip anterior-posterior radiographs six weeks, months, year post-procedure at Surabaya Orthopaedic Traumatology Hospital. Two musculoskeletal radiology consultants blindly evaluated sclerosis, femoral stem positioning angulation, thickening, leg length discrepancy. The 24 male subjects (25%) 72 female (75%). Bone significantly appeared in six-month evaluation. There no difference positioning. Cortical-periosteal found medial side according valgus position of began appear 6-month evaluation became more prominent one year. No significant discrepancy found.

متن کاملEffects of teriparatide on cementless bipolar hemiarthroplasty in patients with osteoporotic femoral neck fractures
BACKGROUND For osteoporotic femoral neck fractures, suitable bone-implant stability is critical for pain relief, early return to daily activities and reduction of complications. Teriparatide (parathyroid hormone [PTH1-34]) can improve bone-implant stability in some basic studies. However it's use in osteoporotic femoral neck fractures treated by cementless hemiarthroplasties for the beneficial ...
